Giraffes are hungry animals: they eat upto 65 kilograms of leaves, buds, and fruits per day. To help them with this, avertical garden has been placed at right angles to the wall of the painting. In a few years, this garden will have grown enough for the plants to reach the giraffe's mouth, meaning that over time, the garden will literally"connect" with the artwork.
